The brief
Animation briefs change the job. Live-action boards are a directional document — a guide for camera and cast. Animation boards are a construction document — every silhouette, prop and camera move on the page is something the studio will build. Seb's pass on the Google Robotics film covered narrative panels through robotic action sequences, human-machine interaction beats and product reveals — handed off in a form the animation studio could match in production without re-blocking.
