With over a decade of experience, I can complete animation storyboards professionally and efficiently (20-25 black and white boards in a day). Initially all storyboards are created in black and white but colour can be added. Please allow extra time and budget for colour boards (see rates page).

I can work from scripts and shot lists. Any reference images (for any specific elements) and mood boards that you provide can be very useful and a huge timesaver too.

Once pre-production has been agreed (animation style, characters, locations, costumes etc which should be provided at the start to maintain consistency throughout the boards). A block booking would also be strongly advised (multiple consecutive days or weeks) due to the larger number of boards required. As in film, boards might be sketchier or looser to accommodate this. Camera movements (pans, dolleys, zooms etc) can also be incorporated for tricky transitions and shots. Please get in touch to discuss your project and work out your bespoke needs.
